I invite you to experience yoga at your own pace and ability. I will meet your where you are and you will find a supportive, non-hurried, nurturing class. If you are new to yoga or are in a healing mode, this will enhance your ability to heal yourself. If you have experience with yoga, you will be able to deepen your practice and promote your ablitity to go beyond, release stagnation, and feel free in both mind and body.
The emphasis may be self care, but as we take care of ourselves, we are better able to give more to others, including all living things. Yoga is a process where we let go of the ego and play with our ability to stretch and grow in the moment. Yoga brings the mind and body together through the breath.
Classes integrate the specific breathing techniques as well as the asana or postures. This leads us to a better understanding of self and our spirit nature.
Yoga with Joani puts the emphasis on gentle and yoga for the wellness of the back as well as other joints. Yoga is not competitive, and is a great way to bring your body mind into a healing state.
